It’s interesting to compare average sales on Lake Hartwell compared to other lakes, like
Lake Lanier. An article in the
Atlanta Journal Constitution, Saturday, December 22nd, stated that
Lake Lanier’s 2007 average waterfront home sales rose to $655,000 over $631,000 in 2006. I think that’s impressive, considering we’re in a drought and the overall metro Atlanta market fell close to 15%. When is the best time to buy lake property? I’d say now….”they’re not making any more of it”.
